Police and Crime Commissioner Election

An election will be held on 2 May 2024 for the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Cambridgeshire.

East Cambridgeshire District Council are the lead authority for the PCC election.

The registration deadline for this election was 16 April. You can register to vote on the government website.

The postal vote application deadline was 5pm on 17 April.

The proxy application deadline was 5pm on 24 April.

You will need photographic ID to vote at a polling station in this election. If you need to apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate, the deadline was 5pm 24 April. For further information please see our voter ID page.

If you have been called away for work, have a medical emergency, or your photo ID has been lost or stolen after 24 April you may be able to apply for an emergency proxy up until 5pm on polling day.
