Have your say on the new Neighbourhood Plan for Pampisford

Members of the public are being invited to comment on a new Neighbourhood Plan for the Pampisford area of South Cambridgeshire to help shape future development and ensure that local amenities, homes, environment and local character is protected and enhanced in years to come.

You can comment on the Submission version of the Pampisford Neighbourhood Plan during a consultation which runs until Monday 30 September 2024.

The Neighbourhood Plan has been prepared by Pampisford Parish Council and once finalised and adopted, it will be used when making decisions on planning applications. 

The consultation is the last opportunity for the public to comment before the Plan is examined by an Independent Planning Examiner. The Plan will then need to be passed by a referendum before being adopted.

During the consultation, you can view the Neighbourhood Plan and its supporting documents on the South Cambridgeshire District Council website.

Comments can be submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council between 9am on Monday 5 August and 5pm on Monday 30 September 2024. You are encouraged to comment online via our online consultation system.

During the consultation, you can view the Neighbourhood Plan and its supporting documents at South Cambridgeshire District Council's office at Cambourne Business Park by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 01954 713000.

It will also be possible to view the documents at the Village Hall Meeting Room in Pampisford Village Hall, 3 Church Lane, Pampisford, CB22 3ET on both Friday 23 August and on Friday September 13 between 7pm and 9pm. Alternatively, appointments to view the documents can be made by calling 07450 407555. If you are attending an appointment, please ensure that you enter the Village Hall via the rear entrance.
