Our street care and cleaning service meets the standards of the Department for Environment, Transport, and the Regions' Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse.
We use a zonal system, with each of the 5 zones supported by a dedicated team of 2 operatives and vans. Mechanical sweepers rotate through the zones on a 10-week cycle.

Litter and dog poo waste bins
Identifying our bins
All litter and dog waste bins that we manage will display the sticker below:
This sticker indicates that we are responsible for emptying those bins. If a bin does not have this sticker, it is serviced by a different organisation.
For bins that we do not service, we recommend reaching out to the relevant Parish Council or the housing development management company associated with the location of the bin.
If you would like to report an overflowing bin or request a new litter or dog waste bin, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our street care team follows a regular schedule for emptying bins in each zone.
Leaves
During autumn, we will conduct additional clearances in areas with heavy leaf fall.
Please note that we only service adopted roads. To check if a road is adopted, please visit the link to the Cambridgeshire County website.
Dead animals
Our Streets team will handle the removal of dead animals. For domestic animals, we take them to a vet promptly to check for a microchip. We aim to remove both wild and domestic dead animals from the roadside within 3 days of receiving a report.
